Following an attack on Iran, the world will recognize the strength of the Israeli military, according to the defense chief.
Israel’s defense minister stated on Wednesday that planned strikes on Iran would demonstrate the country’s military preparedness and strength to the world.
Following Iran’s missile attack on October 1, Israel has vowed to retaliate, raising tensions in the region.
“Anyone who tries to harm us will be harmed — this applies to Iran as well,” Yoav Gallant said during a visit to military personnel at the Hatzerim airbase, as shown in a video released by his office.
Gallant shared the video on X, highlighting his remarks during the visit.
“I emphasized that after we strike Iran, everyone will understand our strength, preparation, and training — any enemy that threatens the State of Israel will pay a heavy price,” he wrote.
Israeli military says large number of Palestinians “evacuated” from northern Gaza
The Israeli military announced on Thursday that a “large number” of Palestinians have been “evacuated” from northern Gaza, though no specific figures were given.
Israel has ramped up its military offensive in the region, citing a resurgence of Hamas. Health officials warn that northern Gaza is at a “breaking point,” facing severe shortages of medicine, food, and fuel.
Many residents, who had already been displaced, are now fleeing again due to multiple military evacuation orders.
Additionally, the Israeli military reported the capture of over 200 militants in Jabalya, a densely populated refugee camp that has faced heavy bombardment since October 5.
Residents describe a harrowing scene, with bodies lying in the streets, widespread starvation, and destroyed roads. According to Gaza officials, more than 770 people in the camp have died, and around a thousand have been wounded during the ongoing offensive, with thousands more forced to flee.
On Wednesday, Israel claimed to have expelled over 20,000 people from Jabalya within the previous 24 hours. CNN has not independently verified these figures.
